If you write books for kids then it might be a good idea to hang out with them and get to know them. Kids are just little people expressing themselves very vocally on a daily basis. They’re not afraid to tell you what they like and don’t like. They are eager to learn more about the world and as a writer it’s up to you to help them.
If you’re new to writing for kids or are considering it, there are a lot of great sites out there that can help you get started. One I came across is F1srt Pages. This is a site geared for helping unpublished and published authors of books for kids. Eileen Robinson was an executive editor for Scholastic and created F1rst Pages to help writers get through the process.
If you are ready to learn more about the world of publishing and want to know what agents are looking for please stop by F1rst Pages and check out this wonderful site.
Happy Reading & Writing!
